World-renowned sculptor and painter Ana Tzarev is proud to bring the next instalment of her global Love & Peace Campaign to Venice during the 55th Venice Biennale. The exhibition features Tzarev’s monumental flower sculpture set amid a collection of her sensational floral paintings at the esteemed Museo Diocesano d'Arte Sacra in the Chiostro di Sant'Apollonia in Venice.
This exhibition’s centrepiece is a remarkable fiberglass poppy entitled Love; one in an edition of 15. Tzarev created these 15-foot flowers as part of a unique worldwide sculpture installation, Love & Peace. These magnificent flowers have already begun to blossom in central locations within numerous cities around the world.
In addition to the immense poppy, this exhibition features smaller-scale floral sculptures in bronze and gold leaf as well as flower paintings. The paintings work is so rich in hue and body that they are not so much seen as felt by exploring the form, colour and texture of flowers. Tzarev’s passion for flora truly defines her creative output.
